Reading Wiki pages

Select the folder left of Wiki in the main menu to open the Wike sub-menu. Depending on your access rights, only a subset of the menu items displayed below may be available to you.

Wiki

Open your group's home page by selecting the Wiki link. Is the same as selecting Home .

Last Changes

Selecting the "Last Changes" link opens the Last Changes Page. By selecting one of the buttons a list of Wiki pages altered within the selected time frame (here: 3 days) is displayed. This is a quick way to find out, whether the page you are interested in was subject to recent modifications.

List pages

All pages accessible to you can be listed by selecting the "List pages" link. A particular page can be searched using the Find options. In the example all english pages containing the letters "ISOVT" in their title have been searched for.

Post a comment

As a user you are generally not entitled to edit the content of a Wiki page. In some instances, however, it is desired that users add comments to the page, e.g. in order to clarify an open issue or voice their opinion. Once the Post button is selected, the comment is added at the bottom of the Wiki page and is thus immediately available to other users!

Note that not all Wiki pages feature comments!

Miscellaneous

• If a minus or a plus sign appear underneath a chapter header on a Wiki page, the corresponding page can be folded away (in case of a minus) or opened (in case of a plus). This helps if the page is a bit cluttered and you want to focus on the relevant sections
  

  Hide a section

• On some pages a table of contents is provided. By selecting one of the table entries you may jump directly to the corresponding chapter
  

  Jump to chapter 'Next Steps'

• A Wiki page can be monitored by activating a user watch. If the watch for a Wiki page is activated you will receive an eMail when it is edited or when a new comment or reply to a comment is added to the page.
  

  Activate a user watch

  The eye changes it's state to indicate that you have set a watch.
  

  User watch is active

  If you no longer want to monitor the Wiki page, deactivate the watch by clicking on the eye again!
