Overview

The Competence Center ISOBUS e.V. (CCI) is host to a range of working groups, the activities of which do result in hard- or software projects available to members of the association. The CCI online portal is a user's communication platform, provided for exclusive usage by our members. It is intended to be the central web-based communication platform for all ISOBUS related activities, like e.g. development and service.

The CCI online portal is based on the Open-Source TikiWiki Wiki Engine.

URL

To access the Wiki please type http://www.cci-net.de into the address field of the browser of your choice and press Enter. This is what you should see:

You should allow Cookies for the www.cci-net.de domain in your browser's configuration!

User Account

In case you do not as yet have a user account with us, please use the Register link on the right hand side of the window. The register dialog will appear.

Attention:

Your user name must be a minimum of 6 letters in length; your password must be a minimum of 6 letters in length and must contain at least one digit!

After the administrator has approved your request you will receive an email that contains a confirmation link. Simply select that link in your eMail client. The CCI Wiki will open in your default browser and automatically create your personal account.

Available Services

The CCI Wiki actually has way more to offer than what you might be used to from other widely used Wikis, like e.g. Wikipedia. In addition to a Wiki it provides among other things

• user forums,
• file and image archives and
• a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section.

All these services and their respective usage will be introduced on the following pages.

Access Rights

There are different levels of access to the Wiki; some users might only be allowed to view certain Wiki pages while not being granted access to the file or image galleries; others might be able to read and write pages and up- and download files and images.

Since access rights in the Wiki are assigned to groups rather than individual users, your access depends on which group(s) you have been assigned to by the system administrator.
Generally you should receive an email detailling your current account settings and access rights after registration.

Miscellaneous

If you run into any problems while using the Wiki service and this manual is of no help

• search the Wiki FAQ or
• post a query in the Wiki Forum - most likely one of the other users of this service can help.

If you detect an error, i.e. a dead link, a service that is malfunctioning or the like

• create a bug report in the CCI Bugtracker, in case you have got a user account,
• let us know by sending an email to the system administrator.
